Graphic Designer

Job Description:

WTP Media is a fast-growing Digital Marketing company currently hiring a full-time Graphic Designer. You must be detail oriented, have a knack for creativity and innovation, committed to delivering professional level work and be a strong contributing team member. This is a work at the office position in our Grand Rapids, MI office location with some work from home options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Creating brand guides for clients including fonts, taglines, logos, graphics and more.
  • Design engaging digital creative for use across multiple interactive platforms from basic microsites and landing pages to full websites, social media, and display ads.
  • Conceptualizing new design strategies that support and align with communication plans for recruitment and retention campaigns.
  • Interacting with colleagues to understand their branding needs, preferences, and objectives.
  • Developing and executing a creative strategy and organization and overseeing the production of all materials related to that strategy.
  • Ensuring design continuity and brand integrity across all marketing platforms
  • Acting as a contributing member of the communications team who adds value to the marketing strategies and plans.
  • Creating designs, imagery, and marketing materials that are engaging and provide an impact to overall performance.
  • The Graphic Designer works closely with the Social Media Coordinator and Creative Director to maintain the department’s budget and performance.
  • The Graphic Designer will create and maintain a strong design presence for the company, by implementing graphic designs through social media accounts, increase web traffic, and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.
  • The Graphic Designer will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote the brand.
  • Participate in photo shoots, art direction, and content creation.
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to concept, layout, design and production of original marketing and advertising materials, both print and digital including websites.
  • Take ideas from concept to execution, collaborating with design, copy and photo/video colleagues, to deliver effective customer experiences.

Education & Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts or similar.
  • 2+ years’ experience design experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Familiar with social media design and ad specs across various platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Intermediate experience with Google Suite.
  • Very comfortable working in a Mac-based environment.
  • 3D rendering capability is a major plus.
  • Photography is a plus.
  • Ability to deliver creative content and designs (text, image, print, digital content, and possibly video).
  • Photography and/or videography skills a plus.
  • Familiarity with mobile devices and digital publishing processes.
  • Videography, filming, and production skills are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
  • Knowledge of current marketplace design trends and best practices and committed to continuous learning.
  • Proficient with a digital SLR camera.
  • An ai knowledge base with graphics is a plus.

Web Traffic Partners is a fast-growing Digital Marketing company currently hiring a full-time Web Developer. The ideal candidate will be fluent in modern web technologies including: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP and SEO. You must be detail oriented, committed to delivering professional level work and be a strong contributing team member within our development department. This is a work from an office position, and you must commute daily to our Grand Rapids, MI office location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining websites for existing and new clients.
  • Implementing responsive design to ensure the website works well on various devices and screen sizes, optimizing website performance for faster loading times and following best practices.
  • Integrating the front-end and back-end components to create a seamless user experience.
  • Using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build user interfaces.
  • Completing time sensitive support tasks including website updates, content changes, and images while providing the highest level of support to our customers.
  • Conducting thorough testing of websites to identify and fix bugs and issues.
  • Maintain detailed records on client work including communication transactions, problems, actions taken, and issue resolution.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.

Education & Technical Skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science. Website Design / Development or Equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP is required.
  • Experience using graphic/interactive design tools such as Photoshop, PHPStorm or comparable IDE/Text Editor.
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Understanding of current SEO best practices
  • AI Knowledge is preferred but not required.
  • Shopify Knowledge is preferred but not required.
